The SUV market has witnessed or SUVs in recent years of rapid growth in both sales figures as in the emergence of category-level versions of new models and new arrivals. In this competitive category, very fashionable, the Honda CR-V seems to have gone unnoticed and without much noise, but has always played a major role as it has enjoyed favor with audiences and critics, who have always stressed its good performance from the dynamic point of view, accompanied by the efficiency of its engines, developed and designed by the world's largest manufacturer of engines.

Since the introduction in Spain of the first generation in 1998 through the second in 2002 and the third, filed in 2006, the CR-V has fought in "positions of honor" in the domestic market. Now, the Japanese maintained and updated elements of the model and the range in 2010 to strengthen its presence in front of the large and fierce competition, played by rivals such as Toyota RAV4, Volkswagen Tiguan, Ford Kuga, the Mitsubishi Outlander renovated or newly arrived BMW X1, to name a few.
The reinforcements which will use the range 2010 CR-V to be measured "from this month-against rivals focus on some shallow aesthetic changes, on both the exterior and the interior of the vehicle and in creating a new version of finished intermediate (Lifestyle), but especially in the diesel engine, whose horsepower and torque has been improved and enlarged (150 hp and 350 Nm to 140 hp and 340 Nm at its predecessor), and especially in the availability of a new automatic change of five relationships associated with diesel mechanics.
