Cielo

First car assembled in Romania was Daewoo Cielo(Nexia) sedan motor car - a reshaped version of Opel Kadett 4 doors. It's engine has four cylinders in line, 1,498 cc, 75 HP. The consumption is 7.8% at 120 km/h, and the maximum speed is 176 km/h. Later on, the Executive type was produced. This had the DOHC engine of Espero, with 16 valves (1.498 cc, 90 HP).
The second car assembled in Romania was Daewoo Espero. It had the 1498 cc/90 HP, 16v DOHC engine and 5 Speed Manual or Automatic gearbox.
The third car assembled in Romania was Tico. This is a minicar with a 3 cylinder, 0.8 Litre engine. Tico was the first minicar in Korea. People who bought minicars in Korea were given special benefits by the governemnt like exemption from taxes that you pay if you had two cars, or let you park in places where other cars can't or cut highway fares in half.

The design of Tico came from Italdesign of Italy, which also designed several other Daewoo cars as well as Fiat's Cinquecento (not the old 500), which looks quite similar to Tico. Top speed for these kind of cars are around 85mph, which means you wouldn't want to take it on the highway but it gets real nice mileage so it's quite a nice getaround around the city.

Next car assembled in Craiova plant was the Damas small van. The Damas meets both passenger and materials distribution needs with comfort and convenience. By maximizing spatial efficiency, the Damas coach can seat up to seven people comfortably. In addition to smart aerodynamic styling, spatial efficiency, total comfort and total convenience, the Damas offers minimal noise, low emissions from a powerful gasoline engine, and smooth riding pleasure from superb suspension system
